Hi Sara,
Here is a text and documentary about Beuys and male/transgender fantasies
that I wrote many years ago. After reading about the Gender Changer
Academy and seeing Mel Gibson's ultramale fantasy "The Passion
of the Christ" --I feel inspired to share this with the group.

Maybe we can discuss this in the wiki or the tub?
Katrien
ps. The documentary has an interview with the art critic Jack Burnham.
Is there anybody in this group thinking about the work of Jack Burnham?

"(...) social sculpture. (...) it might broadly
be defined as a conscious act of shaping, of
bringing some aspect of the environment--whether
the political system, the economy, or a classroom
--from a chaotic state into a state of form, or
structure. Social sculpture should be accomplished
cooperatively, creatively, and across disciplines."

What is the difference between cooperation and
collaboration? Could a native english speaker
explain that to me please?
And, if you have thoughts and ideas about
"social sculpture" please let me know. I am looking
for inspiration for the text of the newspaper Geert
was talking about.
Thanks | Sara Platon
