IFA makes grants under four programmes, one of which is arts collaboration. As the programme officer responsible for arts collaboration, I found the conference of interest to the IFA. IFA's arts collaboration programme facilities convergences between disciplines, contexts and points of view in the arts. This programme supports two or more individuals or groups from any arts field to work on a project that involves their diverse backgrounds, skills and artistic languages, and results in shared outcomes. We have made 32 grants under the arts collaboration programme so far across a range of disciplinary practices. Please look up the IFA website www.indiaifa.org for more information on the programme and the Grant Profiles section for details of the the grants we have made under the programme so far. Though most of the work we have supported so far do not negotiate the theme of online collaboration, we have been receiving collaborative proposals that address technology in interesting ways. I was wondering if we could begin a dialogue after you have had a look at the kinds of collaboration IFA has supported. With warm regards, Madhuban Mitra Programme Executive India Foundation for the Arts |
